SAS Rules
- All regular SA Forum rules apply in SAS. click here to view them.
- Don't report low content posts. We're more lenient towards low content posts here than other forums, if it's a problem we'll handle it.
- Be respectful of your feelow posters and their opinions. We understand that people can get emotional in the heat of the moment, especially in threads that focus on live events, but please use common sense in these situations. If you're being intentionally obnoxious and rude to another poster you will be dealt with accordingly.
- Do not troll wrestling threads. We know it's "sports entertainment" with pre-determined outcomes and tight speedos. This does NOT mean it's okay for you to point this out to the people who enjoy watching it.
- Soccer / Football. We realize and respect that what we call soccer is called football in most parts of the world. However, in this forum football refers to the NFL variety. Soccer will be referred to as soccer in thread titles to avoid any confusion, however in threads both terms can be used interchangibly. Yelling at people for calling it soccer is a good way to get banned.
- Do not argue about what is or isn't a sport. The term sport is a hugely subjective term and arguing about what is and isn't a sport is a waste of time. Don't remind us that you think NASCAR isn't a real sport or that soccer players are five times the athletes baseball players are. We don't care.
- Be descriptive in your thread titles. Be sure to select the appropriate sport-specific tag for your thread, or use the general sports tag if you're posting about a sport that doesn't have a tag. Be concise, but come up with a thread title that tells us exactly what the thread is about.
- Do not yell at people to post in the megathreads. Just because there's a megathread in progress it does not give you the right to shit all over a topic that may have been discussed in the 4,000 post megathread. This is a discussion forum and if someone wants to discuss something more in depth they're more than welcome to start a thread about it.

Most SAS regulars spend tons of time and posts discussing their teams and the sports we discuss here 365 days a year. These people are EXTREMELY knowledgable and are willing to help you out with questions you may have. HOWEVER, because of this, SAS is generally intolerant of posts that directly flame or attack their teams/players. Please think before you decide to jump into contributing here. Chances are if you make an ass out of yourself, plenty of people will call you on it. If you're considerate, and polite, people will treat you in kind.
